While I think that Oliver and the other folks at informationarchitects.jp are incredibly smart, I struggle to see how they think that they are going to be able to sell a WordPress theme for US$1500-2500! I understand they’ve put a lot of hours and sweat into the product – I’ve tried customising WordPress myself [...]
Yet another theme change; you’ve gotta love WordPress for how easy this is! I’m now using Squible, albeit a somewhat hacked version which I continue to modify to my own tastes.

Like a lot of others, I’m using Mint as a stats package for acid. Like all of those others, I’m entirely pleased with the money I spent on it. And now, it gets better.
GetAMint is a WordPress plugin which lets you display Mint statistics on your site without opening up client mode on [...]

Shirley Kaiser, of Brainstorms & Raves has written an excellent article on using and modifying Apache’s .htaccess file.
Given the grief I’m experiencing using .htaccess in concert with Chistine Davis’ excellent Ultimate Tag Warrior, we think as a consequence of WordPress 2.0 doing its own implementation of mod_rewrite, it’s a timely discovery. Unfortunately, it hasn’t [...]

Better yet, take a squiz at Kiwi, which fascinates me, but I’m too scared to drop on the server live…
10,000 hits on my site since I started using Mint in September. Small compared to others, I know, but I’m impressed.

A few days ago, I posted to the Binary Bonsai list on Flickr asking about hacking the K2 theme templates for this site in order to place Google AdSense ads in controlled places – specifically above all posts and after the first or only entry on a page.
Well, after a few days poking about, I’ve [...]

Last night I moved Acid from Movable Type 3.2 (which, don’t get me wrong, is a GREAT piece of software) to WordPress 1.5.2. I have to say I’m very impressed with the whole thing, especially the “plug everything in” architecture, which is very smart indeed. I did this for several reasons:
Josh at Logjamming [...]
