05.07.07Dopplr functionality gap - finding peopleGiven Dopplr's stated aim of: ...[sharing] your future travel plans with a group of trusted fellow travellers whom you have chosen. It also reminds you of friends and colleagues who live in the cities you're planning to visit. it needs to be a lot easier to find those fellow travellers - most of whom you will have contact with via email, or IM, or Twitter, or LinkedIn or something. But at the moment, there isn't any way of finding them. 05.06.07Dopplring...is that a word? Anyway, my first post at Web Worker Daily is about the need for adequate connectedness in your social applications in order to derive benefit. So, in the interests of eating my own dog food, and being a shameless copycat of Tara, here are my travel plans, and an exhibition of the poor connectedness I have on Dopplr.
