Obvious… And no wonder, the delays experienced are unreasonable, particularly given the small number of inroads being made by networks on shows such as Jericho, which screens here less than 24 hours after US broadcast. This proves that there is no justification for the unreasonable delays that Australian viewers are constantly put through. [...]

While The Pirate Bay undoubtedly has pointers to material of less-than-legal status, BitTorrent itself is a hugely useful technology, with many legal implementations. Thanks to a combination of (sensible) Swedish law and determination on the part of the operators of The Pirate Bay, the MPAA has failed in a takedown maneuver aginst the site.

Not new, but this is a great article about the shift to user-controlled television viewing (based on downloading of shows, either legally or otherwise), driven by issues such as release and broadcast schedules in different markets. The success and viewing by worldwide audiences of shows such as Battlestar Galactica (and any number of others) [...]

Excellent article on combining the power of BitTorrent with Firefox. It discusses popup killing, mimetype management, direct searching, site customisation with Greasemonkey and BitTorrent integration directly with Firefox.
All useful information, and I know you’re not using BitTorrent for anything of a dubious legal nature… Right?
