This week, I’m a participant in Mark Jones’ highly regarded podcast, The Scoop, a part of the Australian Financial Review’s MISAustralia stable. I met Mark at the recent PubCamp events in Sydney and Melbourne, and we’ve been chatting online occasionally since.
This weeks’ show features me, Laurel Papworth, Michael Specht and C-level types Malcolm Pascoe, former CIO of Goodman Fielder, and Bob Hennessey, Financial Services Managing Director at BearingPoint and former CIO of AAPT.
We spent a vigorous 30-odd minutes talking about connected workers, the value of social media and social networking in business including attraction, engagement and retention gains, customer relationships, the informal organisation and more.
You should definitely have a listen if this sort of stuff interests you. The input in particular from the CIOs was very valuable, and incredibly open to the position Michael, Laurel and I shared.
