On The Pod logoLast night, I spoke with blogger, TechCrunch writer and podcaster Duncan Riley from On The Pod.

We chatted about:

  • the opportunities (mostly yet to be realised) that the Australian Federal government (and governments everywhere by association) have in leveraging the power of the Internet to connect with and enable their constituents – the notion of a real Government 2.0
  • government ICT policy (or lack thereof)
  • responsiveness of politicians and the public sector to connected constituents
  • the innovation vs. public purse tradeoff that is often necessary in public sector ICT
  • the recent election
  • Canberra lifestyle
  • a bunch of other stuff…
