A lot of this work is to done around execution of the changes needed to make burst work styles more successful in traditional organisations.Good luck JesterXL with your discussion, if you are a bursty worker in a busy workplace you need to work twice as hard!

Steve thanks for reading and commenting on the blog, I truly feel there is a major discussion that needs to take place inside organisations on these topics. I'm fixin' to go into negotiations for full time work after swearing I'd never go back to full time ever again. I've been re-reading Web Worker Daily all weekend to find if anyone else lives the digital Bedouin lifestyle AND is employed full time. I've spotted only 1 comment there, but hopefully he's not a loud minority, thus giving me hope. To see that others in management buy into the burst work theory is great. The comments above give me good talking points (I hope).

Helpful.
