Now, I’m not say­ing that CraigsList isn’t mak­ing money. I’d guess, actu­ally, that it’s mak­ing quite a lot of money. How­ever, this post over at Bokardo and the source infor­ma­tion at the NY Times are a fas­ci­nat­ing insight into one of the facets of Web 2.0 moti­va­tion — some­times it’s just not about the money.

Nice to see CraigsList set­ting the bar at a good, high point dri­ven by user expe­ri­ence, social respon­si­bil­ity and a lit­tle bit of “think different”.
