The Virtual Office Utopia - nearly

I hate to be a naysayer twice in a day…

Over at Web Worker Daily, Michael Simon of LogMeIn gives his vision of the rapidly approaching virtual office utopia where ubiquitous connectivity will mean we web workers will be free of our notebooks and PCs. He sees us connecting as needed via car, USB key, handheld or other device.

While I love the concept, I don’t think it’s as close as Michael would have us believe. I’m so bound to the combination of Apple Mail, iCal, Address Book and kGTD that I’m a way from dropping them yet.

My doubts aside, the article is a great read, check it out.
