The ACME Guide, 3rd Edition - almost here, and I need your help

I’m almost done on The ACME Guide, 3rd Edition, but I need some help from the OS X folks out there. I have two needs:

  1. How do I set JRun/ColdFusion not to start on boot? I’m sure it’s easy, but I can’t figure it out…
  2. OS X/Unix equivalents to the Windows service management scripts already in the 2nd Edition of The ACME Guide.

BTW, the new edition will be released at webDU on 2nd March 2006.
