Shirley Kaiser, of Brainstorms & Raves has written an excellent article on using and modifying Apache’s .htaccess file.
Given the grief I’m experiencing using .htaccess in concert with Chistine Davis’ excellent Ultimate Tag Warrior, we think as a consequence of WordPress 2.0 doing its own implementation of mod_rewrite, it’s a timely discovery. Unfortunately, it hasn’t yet solved my problem, but I’m guessing it’s a step on the way.
If nothing else, I’m definitely more across what .htaccess and mod_rewrite are up to, even if it doesn’t solve my problem.
