It’s been blogged up and down the Internets over the past few days, but this is brilliant; a trailer for The Shining rethunk as a romantic comedy – http://www.ps260.com/molly/SHINING%20FINAL.mov. It was done as an entry for a film editing competition (NYT article with full explanation).
There are also recuts of West Side Story and Titanic available, but they’re not nearly as clever.
