I introduced my wife to the new Battlestar Galactica with Season 2, Episode 10 Pegasus last night (let’s not discuss how I obtained it here in Australia). She’s hooked. But now we suffer the US Summer hiatus until it returns in January. Others are suffering too (here and here).
BSG has been great all season so far. The grittiness, the realism of the characters with all their flaws and foibles. It’s less an SF series and more simply drama in an SF setting. For that, I love what’s being done with it. The makers and cast fully deserve the third season they’ve just signed for.
In the meantime, thank the gods for Lost Season 2.
And now, the wait begins

Can you guys get the DVDs of Season 1? They were released Stateside on September 20.
Yep. Season 1 released here 16 August. Our biggest DVD specialist chain store sells it around AU$55. It can probably be bought as low as AU$45 is you look hard enough.
big bummer about that. i don’t wanna wait till january for the rest of BSG or SG-A.
i didn’t know that season 1 was available on DVD out here yet. must check out sanity or a few others…
