So what’s the go with Skype? I’ve noticed it hovering above the radar of the blogosphere a bit lately; even John Perry Barlow from the EFF is a big supporter.
Anyway, I’ve downloaded and installed it (Edit: but can only use it at home, usually 1800-0700 AEDST). And it looks nice. However without knowing anyone on the system, it’s next to useless hdd-filler. My Skype Name is trib22. Convince me.
Another Edit: Okay, the Skype juggernaut seems to be running a little harder today - Slashdot has a story which points off to news.com.com. Still, only one person has bothered to contact me… I now I’m dull, but hey!
