Here’s my plan…
Over the Christmas break, I plan to take Ray’s BlogCFC and begin the implementation of a full Mach-II front- and back-end to it. The ultimate aim of this folly is to replicate as much of the functionality of Movable Type, the 800lb gorilla in the blog space, as possible. That way, those of us who want to blog in CF can have a heavy-hitter app to do it with.
I’m already thinking that this may require something of a rewrite of Ray’s code, to Mach-II-ify it, but I’m sure he won’t mind (I’ll be asking real nice).
What I’m looking for from the community is input as to what features you folks want in such an app. The most requested features will go to the top of the development list, obviously.
